LOS ANGELES, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Los Angeles police have retrieved most of former reality TV personality Paris Hilton's jewelry taken in a 2008 burglary, her publicist says.

Publicist Dawn Miller told People magazine Friday the one-time star of "The Simple Life" picked up her recovered jewelry Thursday following a series of arrests connected to several high-end burglaries.

"Paris went to the police station last night to retrieve her stolen belongings," Miller said of the estimated $2 million in jewelry taken in the burglary. "She didn't get everything but fortunately most of her jewelry was returned. She is really pleased and thankful to the LAPD for their help."

Among the five suspects arrested Thursday as part of a sting operation was Rachel J. Lee, 19, who police suspect was the ringleader of a burglary ring that targeted celebrities' homes.

People.com said among the other suspected victims of the alleged ring were singer-actress Lindsay Lohan, actor Orlando Bloom and reality TV star Audrina Patridge.

Police in September arrested Nicholas Prugo and accused the 18-year-old of taking part in the Patridge and Lohan thefts.
