Mother said Josh Powell threatened her

CHICAGO, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Former U.S. vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin has been booked as a guest on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."
The New York Post said the former Republican Alaskan governor is expected to appear on the Nov. 16 edition of the program to promote her new book, "Going Rogue: An American Life."
Winfrey said last year she wouldn't interview Palin on her chat show until after the election because she didn't want to discuss politics on the program after publicly endorsing Barack Obama.
Obama hadn't appeared on the show since 2007.
