NEW YORK, Oct. 19 (UPI) -- Jerry Trainor and Jennette McCurdy, the stars of the U.S. television series "iCarly," are to headline the new TV movie, "Best Player," Nickelodeon said.

The film is about "two cyber athletes who inadvertently learn that the real world can be just as exciting and rewarding as a virtual one," the network said in a news release.

Shooting is to begin Saturday in Vancouver, British Columbia, for a 2010 premiere on Nickelodeon.

"'Best Player' is a funny and compelling story about online gaming taken to the extreme," Marjorie Cohn -- executive vice president of Nickelodeon's original programming and development -- said in a statement. "This movie gives Jerry Trainor and Jennette McCurdy a new platform in which to showcase their talent and our audience will love seeing them star in these new comedic roles."
