Miley Cyrus performed on "Today" at Rockefeller Center in New York on May 26.

The singer is gearing up to release a new, untitled album later this year. She recently released the song "Malibu" from that album, which she said was inspired by her fiance Liam Hemsworth.

Cyrus' last critically popular studio album, Bangerz, was released in 2013 and featured the songs "We Can't Stop" and "Wrecking Ball."
