Kara McCullough, Miss District of Columbia, wins Miss USA title (27 images)

Kara McCullough, a 25-year old radiochemist from Washington, D.C., won the 2017 Miss USA Pageant on May 14 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

McCullough will represent the United States at the 2017 Miss Universe pageant.

First runner up was Chhavi Verg from New Jersey and second runner up was Meridith Gould from Minnesota.

The show was hosted by Terrence J and Julianne Hough and featured performances from Pitbull, Stephen Marley and Brett Eldredge.
