Gal Gadot, Lynda Carter attend the 'Wonder Woman' premiere in Los Angeles (12 images)

Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot was joined by the original Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter, at the premiere of the film in Los Angeles on May 25.

The film, which premieres in theaters on June 2, tells the origin story of the superhero when she was still Diana, princess of the Amazon, before she set out to save the world. When a pilot, played by Chris Pine, crashes in her kingdom in the Amazon, Diana embarks on a mission to resolve conflict in the unfamiliar world outside of her own.

Wonder Woman also stars David Thewlis, Robin Wright, Connie Nielsen, and Danny Huston.
