"I left my wife and child at home and I was straight out to In-N-Out Burger," he joked of the California-based fast food chain.

Payne and Cole were first linked in February 2016, and welcomed son Bear in March. Payne called the 33-year-old singer and television personality his "dream girl" in an interview with Rollacoaster magazine prior to Bear's birth.

"I have the most beautiful girlfriend in the world and she's absolutely amazing," the singer gushed. "She's been my dream girl since I was younger.

"She is a wonderful, wonderful person and it's amazing to have someone who can relate to [my career]. She fully supports me. We're super happy. It's a very personal, precious time for us," he added.

Cole gave birth to Bear on March 22 after confirming her pregnancy in February. Payne announced their son's name this month during a Twitter exchange with survivalist and television personality Bear Grylls.
