According to T-Boz on Twitter who posted artwork for the single, the finished version of the song will feature a guest appearance from rapper Snoop Dogg. "Yes the time has come," she wrote.

The album is TLC's first since 2002 following the death of original member Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes and the release of their fourth album 3D.

"Our final album will stay true to the TLC sound, always confronting the real issues and life experiences that we all must face every single day, everywhere. We write music that people relate to...timeless music. No matter the trends, we feel like our music is always relevant," TLC said previously of their upcoming album.
