March 22 (UPI) -- Country star couple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will release an album together this year.

The pair announced plans for their first-ever joint album this week ahead of the release of their new single "Speak to a Girl," according to Entertainment Weekly.

McGraw and Hill will debut "Speak to a Girl" on Thursday, and perform the song at the Academy of Country Music Awards on April 2. The couple appeared to tease lyrics from the track Tuesday on Twitter.

"She wants you to say what you mean #speaktoagirl," a clip reads.

McGraw and Hill married in 1996, and share three daughters, 19-year-old Gracie, 18-year-old Maggie and 15-year-old Audrey. They will kick off their third Soul2Soul tour April 7 in New Orleans.

"For me -- it's been 10 years since we actually did a proper tour together -- to be on stage with her and hear her sing every night, it's pretty special," McGraw told Entertainment Tonight in February.

"We don't get to hear her sing very often, especially live. Every night I really just look forward to hearing her and trying to keep up with her, which is the biggest problem for me!" he added.

McGraw and Hill have previously collaborated on a number of singles, including the Grammy-winning songs "Let's Make Love" and "Like We Never Loved at All." McGraw last released the album Damn Country Music in 2015, while Hill released the compilation album Deep Tracks in November.
