The Who announce Las Vegas residency

March 14 (UPI) -- The Who announced a new residency in Las Vegas that begins July 29 at Caesar's Palace.

"Vegas! We're coming to rock The Colosseum at Caesars Palace with a six-show residency July 29 – Aug 11," the band said on Facebook Monday alongside a colorful concert flyer.

The residency period will include six shows at Caesar's Palace with The Who referring to the performances as a "first run."

Tickets go on sale starting Friday at noon.

The residency caps off a long-running goodbye tour that started in 2014 and is set to end in April in England.
