David Bowie, Drake, Beyonce win big at the Brit Awards

Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Drake, Beyonce, Adele and the late David Bowie earned accolades at the Brit Awards in London on Wednesday night.

Bowie was honored as British Male Solo Artist and his Blackstar was named British Album of the Year, while Adele picked up the British Global Success Award.

The British Artist Video Award went to One Direction for "History," Emeli Sande won the prize for British Female Solo Artist and The 1975 picked up the statuette for British Group.

Little Mix's "Shout Out to My Ex" garnered the award for British Single and Rag'N'Bone Man was presented with the British Breakthrough Act gong.

A Tribe Called Quest won for International Group, Drake for International Male Solo Artist and Beyonce for Female Solo Artist.
