Radiohead announces nine date U.S. tour

Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Radiohead has announced a new nine date U.S. tour for 2017 which takes place in-between their headlining set at Coachella.

The short tour kicks off March 30 at the American Airlines Arena in Miami before they travel to Atlanta, New Orleans, Kansas City, Seattle and Portland before staying in California for multiple dates including two weekends at Coachella in April.

The final dates outside of Coachella include two stints at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley.

Following their U.S. trek, the band will heading off to Europe and the U.K. for 11 dates, some of which also include festival outings.

Radiohead is touring in support of their ninth studio album A Moon Shaped Pool which released in May. The group had performed at four locations in the U.S. following the release of the album, their first world tour in four years.
