LONDON, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- David Beckham's 11-year-old son Cruz Beckham has taken his first major step into the music business by releasing his first single titled, "If Every Day Was Christmas."

The holiday-themed track, which became available on iTunes Wednesday, will have all of its proceeds donated to charity foundation Global's Make Some Noise.

"If everyday was Christmas and I can't be with you / underneath the mistletoe / kiss you when nobody knows," Cruz sings on the song.

The young star first gained attention for his vocals and comparisons to Justin Bieber when his mother Victoria Beckham shared on social media a clip of Cruz singing "Hope" by Faith Evans.

David on Wednesday shared a video of Cruz on Instagram reacting to hearing his single while enjoying breakfast.

"Not his average morning before school... Proud of my little man with his new Christmas single and also helping children around the UK with the proceeds from this...," the soccer star wrote.

Notably, Cruz is managed by Scooter Braun, the same man who discovered Justin Bieber which has lead to further comparisons between the two.
