NASHVILLE, May 26 (UPI) -- Dierks Bentley has released a new duet with fellow country star Elle King entitled "Different for Girls" from his upcoming album, Black.

The single which premiered on iHeartRadio Thursday, is the singer's follow-up to his chart-topping hit, "Somewhere on a Beach."

"'Different For Girls' definitely has a little bit of a different theme to it. Just looking at the world from a different perspective, a more mature perspective," Bentley said in a press release about the song's content.

"I just think that there [are] some double standards that exist, and the song kind of draws attention to that. And at the same time, it recognizes that guys and girls do handle break-ups and heartaches a little bit differently," he continued.

Speaking with Rolling Stone, King, known for her hit "Ex's & Oh's" explained how "Different for Girls" was a new experience for her as an artist. "Since I often write from the male perspective, I was really excited to be a part of someone else's story that is jumping outside of the norm for a relationship song," she said.
