OXFORD, England, May 3 (UPI) -- Radiohead has released a music video for their new single, "Burn the Witch."

Released Tuesday, the clip features an English town named "Model Village" that appears perfect before its citizens begin taking part in mysterious ceremonies that pay homage to the 1973 thriller, The Wicker Man.

"Burn the Witch" is seemingly the band's first single for their as-yet-untitled ninth studio album following 2011's The King of Limbs. In October, Radiohead registered a new company, Dawn Chorus LLP, leading fans to believe a new album was on the way. A similar tactic was used before Radiohead released Limbs and their 2007 release In Rainbows.

The music video comes after the group erased their online and social media presence deleting all previous posts. Now links to "Burn the Witch" appear on their website, Facebook and Twitter after it was teased on Instagram.

The song will become available Wednesday on all digital platforms.

Radiohead will embark on their first U.S. concert dates in four years as part of a new world tour starting May 20. The band will also be performing at Lollapalooza July 28-31 alongside headliners Red Hot Chili Peppers and LCD Soundsystem and will make stops at the Primavera Sound festival in Spain June (2-4), the OpenAir St Gallen festival in Switzerland (July 2), and the NOS Alive festival in Portugal (July 8).
