The 25-year-old Australian singer revealed the news in an interview Friday with On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Azalea and the 30-year-old Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard will postpone their nuptials to accommodate the singer's new tour.
"[I] actually moved my wedding 'cause I have to tour, so my wedding plans are changing," the star said. "It was going to happen at the end of the year but now I have to go to work. We'll probably have to wait until the end of the next basketball season to do that."
"[Nick is] really awesome and great and totally understanding and does not mind," she shared. "He's like, 'I can be a bachelor for longer' and like, he's really milking it, he's really milking the whole thing. So he's really happy."
Azalea and Young have been together since 2013 and got engaged in June. The singer previously told Vogue she fell in love with Young because he's "completely wacky, spontaneous and insane."
Azalea last released The New Classic in 2014 and will debut her second studio album, Digital Distortion, sometime this year. The singer released a first single, "Team," and a dance video for the song Friday.
"I'm super proud of 'Team' because I am the only person on it," she told Seacrest. "I went a little feature-crazy last year, which was cool, but it was good to get back to doing a song where I only had to consider myself when creating. I could do totally everything the way I wanted."
