SANTA CLARA, Calif., Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Missy Elliott's comeback continues with the release of her new single, "Pep Rally."

Released on Saturday on iTunes and then Sunday on YouTube, the new song comes one year after her show stealing performance alongside Katy Perry at Super Bowl XLIX.

"Rock it, now stop it," she raps on the upbeat dance tune. "Now go bend over, touch your toes. Get it, now get it. Let your bottom scrape the floor!"

Elliott's pervious Super Bowl halftime appearance according to Mashable resulted in eight songs and four albums from the rapper's catalogue to enter into the Top 200 charts on iTunes.

This prompted the 44-year-old's return to music back in November with the release of her single "WTF (Where They From)" featuring Pharrell. Elliott has not released a new album since 2005's The Cookbook.

"Pep Rally" and Elliott were also featured Super Bowl Sunday during Amazon's Echo speaker commercial alongside Alec Baldwin, Jason Schwartzman and Dan Marino.
