NASHVILLE, Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Blake Shelton shut down rumors about his personal life before announcing his new tour Wednesday.

The 39-year-old country star posted a series of angry tweets amid speculation he is seeing fellow The Voice coach Gwen Stefani. A source told Us Weekly magazine Shelton and Stefani are "the real thing" following his split from wife Miranda Lambert.

"The stuff I read about myself blows my mind. Shouldn't I get to do all these things since I'm already accused of them? #doublejeopardy," the singer wrote.

"I literally just got back from FAR northern Quebec chasing caribou and now read about all the crazy stuff I've been doing lately?!! #WTF?!" he added. "Just watch and see how these tweets I just sent get spun... Son of a bitch!!!! This calls for a drink."

Word Shelton filed for divorce from Lambert broke in July, and the country star recently told The Bobby Bones Show the entire process took just days. The couple met at the CMT 100 Greatest Duets Concert in 2005, and married in May 2011.

The singer returned to social media later in the day to announce his upcoming, self-titled tour. He will kick off the tour Feb. 18, 2016, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and finish Aug. 27 in Iowa City, Iowa. The tour will promote his forthcoming 10th studio album.

"We've got a new album coming and I can't wait to get back out on the road and play some new music for my fans," he said on his website. "As an artist, my favorite thing to do is go on the road and play shows. I've missed it, and it's gonna be like old times. So y'all get ready to party, 'cause Blake Shelton is comin to see ya!"

Shelton last released Bringing Back the Sunshine in September 2014, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The record was preceded by Based on a True Story... in 2013, and includes the singles "Neon Light," "Lonely Tonight" and "Sangria."
