"So bummed that I have to cancel some of my tour dates. This kills me, but doctors are saying I need to rest my voice!" she tweeted Friday night.

All tickets may be refunded at the point of their purchase.

Clarkson, 33, is known for her hits "A Moment Like This," "Miss Independent," "My Life Would Suck Without You," "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill Us)" and "Heartbeat Song."

She is married to talent manager Brandon Blackstock and pregnant with their second child. They also have a year-old daughter named River Rose.
