The single will appear on Jackson's forthcoming 11th studio album, which is scheduled for release in the fall. The song is her first new music since her 10th record, Discipline, debuted in February 2008.

"No Sleeep" comes days after the singer announced her Unbreakable world tour. Jackson will kick off the tour August 31 in Vancouver, B.C., and bring the tour to a close November 12 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Jackson will reportedly be honored at the 2015 BET Awards on Sunday, June 28. Her attendance will mark her first major television appearance in three years, and a source told Page Six, "Janet's known for her dancing, so expect a lot of dancing."
