LOS ANGELES, May 4 (UPI) -- Lil Wayne inspired girlfriend Christina Milian's new song "Rebel." The 32-year-old rapper and 33-year-old singer were first linked in summer 2014, and confirmed their relationship in April. Milian released a music video for the single on the ET website Monday, and admitted the track is about her beau.

"It's safe to say it is about the man in my life, yes," she confessed. "There's nothing better than that feeling of new chemistry when you're so into someone and you could care less about what anyone else things... and there's butterflies!"
"For me, I'm so inspired by the relationship that I'm in that it's definitely an experience," she shared. "It's that careless, hopeless, romantic love -- that feeling of 'I will do anything for you' and it's just incredible and so yeah, 'rebel for you' means 'I'm all about you.'"
Milian revealed Lil Wayne will appear on her upcoming five-song EP, her first album since So Amazin' in 2006. The singer was previously wed to producer The-Dream, with whom she shares 5-year-old daughter Violet, and engaged to Jas Prince.
