"Happy to have some new recordings for people that have loved our music," singer-guitarist Gordon Gano said of the track, "and would be honored to have a few new ears hear us for the first time too."

Violent Femmes -- a trio featuring Gano, bassist Brian Ritchie, and drummer Brian Viglione -- released its eighth studio album Freak Magnet in 2000. The band plans to record more tracks for its EP in the Spring ahead of their tour across America with the Barenaked Ladies in June and July.
