Justin Timberlake, Garth Brooks team up in surprise '20/20 Experience' gig

The 33-year-old performer was mid-way through a cover of Brook's "Friends in Low Places" when he stopped to tell the audience that "something don't feel right."

NASHVILLE, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Justin Timberlake surprised fans who attended his 20/20 Experience gig in Nashville Friday by having country star Garth Brooks join him onstage.

The 33-year-old performer was mid-way through a cover of Brook's "Friends in Low Places" when he stopped to tell the audience that "something don't feel right."

"I mean if you're going to do this," Timberlake continued. "Garth?" he asked, prompting the legendary singer to appear on stage.

The exchange was captured in a video by a concert-goer, who uploaded it on YouTube.

Brooks and Timberlake also took to social media to praise each other after the show.

"I saw an ENTERTAINER tonight! @justintimberlake #Justinrcredible," Brooks captioned a video of Timberlake in concert.

"Last one... Just two boys admiring a sold-out crowd in Nashville," Timberlake wrote along with a photo go himself a and Brooks sharing the mic during the show.

Brook's surprise appearance on Timberlake's show came days after the singer teamed up with rapper Jay Z during his performance at Brooklyn's Barclays Center. Timberlake's 20/20 Experience World Tour, will come to an end on Dec. 20.
