One Direction's 'Four' tops U.S. album chart

The British-Irish boy band is the only music group in the chart’s 58-year history to have its first four albums debut at the top of the roster.

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- One Direction's Four is No. 1 on the U.S. album chart, Billboard announced.

The British-Irish boy band is the only music group in the chart's 58-year history to have its first four albums debut at the top of the roster.

Coming in at No. 2 on this week's Billboard 200 is Taylor Swift's 1989, followed by Pentatonix's That's Christmas to Me at No. 3, Nickelback's No Fixed Address at No. 4 and Garth Brooks' Man Against Machine at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are Pink Floyd's The Endless River at No. 6, Foo Fighters' Sonic Highways at No. 7, In This Moment's Black Widow at No. 8, Michael Buble's Christmas at No. 9 and Idina Menzel's Holiday Wishes at No. 10.
