Fallout Boy frontman Patrick Stump to be a judge on 'The Sing-Off'

The six competing groups are Timothy's Gift and Melodores from Nashville; The Exchange from Los Angeles; Traces from New York; San Fran 6 from Northern California; and A. Squared from New Haven, Conn.

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Six vocal groups will compete for a first-place prize of $50,000 on a two-hour edition of the popular music competition The Sing-Off.

The program is to air Dec. 17 on NBC.

Returning judges Jewel and Shawn Stockman will be joined by Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump, while Nick Lachey is once again set to serve as host.
