NEW YORK, Sept. 21 (UPI) -- Gavin Rossdale said Bush's first album in four years, Man on the Run, was influenced by dance, electronic and house music.
The new album is scheduled to be released Oct. 21, some 20 years after the rock band's debut hit, Sixteen Stone.

Rossdale, 48, said rock needed "some kind of reinvention," hence the dabbling in dance music.
"The inspiration behind the new album is just the beauty and magic of music," he told ABC News.
Still, Man on the Run is not a dance album.
"I'm excited to have the record out and it's a fantastic start," he said.
The first single on the album is expected to be The Only Way Out.
