NASHVILLE, Aug. 6 (UPI) -- Beloved recording artists Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood have signed on to co-host the country music industry's CMA Awards show for a seventh consecutive year, ABC announced.

"Over time, there's been an evolution of who we are as hosts of the show -- what fits, what's comfortable, what's real -- and we love being a part of the creative team," Underwood said in a statement. "We feel the responsibility of what this night means to our music community, to our fellow artists and to the viewers at home."

Sarah Trahern, CMA's chief executive officer, declared Paisley and Underwood "unmatched as a hosting team."

"They have impeccable comic timing, industry credibility, critical acclaim, and a natural rapport that makes them popular with our live audience and the viewers at home. We are delighted to have them presiding over 'Country Music's Biggest Night.'"

The ceremony is to air on ABC Nov. 5. The star-studded event will be broadcast live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.
