NEW YORK, July 29 (UPI) -- Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett will release jazz album Cheek to Cheek on September 23.

Cheek to Cheek features solo and duet covers of such songs as "Cheek to Cheek" from the Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers movie Top Hat, "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" from musical Pal Joey and "Sophisticated Lady" by Duke Ellington. The singers previously collaborated on "The Lady is a Tramp" for Bennett's album Duets II (2011).

"I love the way she sings," Bennett told host Carson Daly when he and Lady Gaga arrived.

"The collaboration has just been so wonderful," Lady Gaga added later. "It's so natural singing with Tony."

Lady Gaga chose to commemorate their work with a tattoo on her inner right bicep. Bennett, who is also a well-known painter, sketched Miles Davis' trumpet for the design.
