LONDON, July 7 (UPI) -- Pink Floyd will release new album The Endless River this fall.

The record will be the English rock band's first release since The Division Bell in 1994. Polly Samson, wife to singer and guitarist David Gilmour, announced the news on Twitter over the weekend.

"Btw Pink Floyd album out in October is called 'The Endless River,'" she wrote. "Based on 1994 sessions is Rick Wright's swansong and very beautiful."

Wright was a multi-instrumentalist and founding member of Pink Floyd. He left the group in 1979, but later returned until his death in 2008. The band today consists only of drummer Nick Mason and singer and guitarist David Gilmour; late singer and guitarist Syd Barrett was let go in 1968, and singer and bassist Roger Waters left in 1985.

The Endless River will consist entirely of unreleased songs, and is due sometime in October.
