SANTA MONICA, Calif., May 23 (UPI) -- Singer-songwriter Robin Thicke is to release his seventh album July 1 on Star Trak/Interscope Records, the label said.

Thicke premiered the as-yet-untitled album's first single, "Get Her Back," at last Sunday's 2014 Billboard Music Awards ceremony. Thicke and his wife, actress Paula Patton, announced their separation several months ago.

The new album is Thicke's follow-up to last year's Blurred Lines, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, propelled by the success of its title single, which spent 12 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100.
