LOS ANGELES, May 23 (UPI) -- American Idol Season 13 winner Caleb Johnson will release his first album this summer, 19 Recordings and Interscope Records announced.

The 22-year-old rocker from North Carolina won the singing competition series Wednesday.

His self-titled debut album is set for release Aug. 12. Fans who pre-order it on iTunes will instantly get Johnson's single and American Idol finale song, "As Long as You Love Me," written by Justin Hawkins and produced by Howard Benson.

Johnson has already booked TV appearances on Live! with Kelly and Michael and PBS' 25th annual National Memorial Day Concert. He will also headline the American Idol Live! 2014 concert tour, which will kick off June 24, in Binghamton, N.Y.
