Destiny's Child reunite on new track 'Say Yes'

The trio's last release as Destiny's Child was the song 'Nuclear' in 2013.

NEW YORK, May 22 (UPI) -- Destiny's Child have reunited for new song Say Yes.

Beyoncé, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland lend their signature harmonies to the upbeat track. The song features EDM influences, and is based on Nigerian gospel hymn When Jesus Says Yes.

The trio's last release was Nuclear in January 2013. Williams and Rowland joined Beyoncé onstage the next month to perform Destiny's Child hits Bootylicious and Independent Women, along with Single Ladies at Superbowl XLVII.

Say Yes will appear on Michelle Williams' upcoming album Journey to Freedom. The 33-year-old singer said Thursday on Twitter the leaked version of Say Yes has not been mixed or mastered. Various people have posted the song online, but the track has not been officially released.
