Monáe's Golden Electric Tour was a joint tour with Kimbra. The singers were supposed to perform in five cities in 10 days including Brisbane on Thursday; Auckland, New Zealand on Saturday; and again in Melbourne next Monday.

The "Q.U.E.E.N." singer reportedly fell ill before her performance in Melbourne's The Forum Saturday.

Monae's tour is scheduled to come to the U.S. on May 31. There is no word on whether the American shows will also be affected by the singer's illness.
