Ciara and fiancé Future welcome their first child

Ciara said in an April interview that it is "so cool when you're blessed to give the gift of life."

LOS ANGELES, May 20 (UPI) -- Ciara and fiancé Future are proud parents to a baby boy.

Page Six reports that the 26-year-old singer gave birth Monday morning. The couple have not yet announced the baby's name.

The baby is Ciara's first child; Future has three other children from previous relationships. The couple got engaged in October 2013, and announced their pregnancy in January 2014.

"Honestly, it's been the coolest experience in my life," Ciara said of her pregnancy to Us Weekly in April. "It's so cool when you're blessed to give the gift of life."
