Ludacris to host the Billboard Music Awards

Sunday's event will feature performances by Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Katy Perry, Lorde, Luke Bryan, Miley Cyrus, Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood.

LAS VEGAS, May 14 (UPI) -- Recording artist and actor Ludacris will host Sunday's 2014 Billboard Music Awards, producers announced Wednesday.

The show will be broadcast live on ABC from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Among the celebrities scheduled to be presenters at the ceremony are Chrissy Teigen, Danica McKeller, Jack Antonoff, Josh Groban, Lucy Hale, Omar Epps, Phillip Phillips, Sarah Hyland and Shania Twain.

The lineup of previously announced performers includes 5 Seconds of Summer, Ariana Grande, Florida Georgia Line, Iggy Azalea, Imagine Dragons, Jason Derulo, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Katy Perry, Lorde, Luke Bryan, Miley Cyrus, Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood, OneRepublic, Pitbull, Ricky Martin and Shakira. The show will also feature what the network is touting as "a Michael Jackson world premiere experience."
