LOS ANGELES, May 9 (UPI) -- Ed Sheeran announced the release of his new song All of the Stars on Friday, which will play during the end credits of the new film The Fault in Our Stars.

Sheeran announced the premier of song and music video on Twitter.

The movie is based on the John Greene book about two teenagers who meet in a cancer support group and fall in love. The song is similarly emotional and tear-jerking.

"So open your eyes and see / The way our horizons meet / And all of the lights will leave / Into the night with me," he sings in the chorus, "All of these stars will guide us home."
