Paul Simon and wife Edie Brickell arrested after domestic dispute

Simon and Brickell married in May 1992, and have three children together, Adrian, Lulu and Gabriel.

NEW CANAAN, Conn., April 28 (UPI) -- Paul Simon and wife Edie Brickell were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct over the weekend.

The 72-year-old Simon and Garfunkel singer and his 48-year-old wife, also a musician, were reportedly involved in a domestic dispute Saturday. NBC News reports that police were dispatched around 8:20 p.m. to the couple's Connecticut home, where they gathered information and found probable cause to make an arrest.

The pair were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, but were not taken into custody. They are scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court Monday.

Simon and Brickell married in May 1992, and have three children together, Adrian, Lulu and Gabriel. The marriage is Simon's third.
