LOS ANGELES, Feb. 21 (UPI) -- U.S. music producer and singer Pharrell Williams is auctioning off his iconic Vivienne Westwood-designed mountie hat to raise money for charity, EW.com said.

Williams grabbed the spotlight when he wore the peculiar accessory to the Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles this month.

EW.com said Friday the item is listed on eBay for more than $10,000 and bidding doesn't close until March 2.

Proceeds from the auction are to go toward From One Hand to Another, Williams' charity for at-risk youth.
