Lana Del Rey and Barrie-James O'Neill are engaged

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 31 (UPI) -- U.S. pop star Lana Del Rey quietly got engaged to Scottish musician Barrie-James O'Neill last summer, UsMagazine.com reported Friday.

No other details were immediately available other than that Del Rey has been wearing a large diamond ring for months.

There is no word yet on whether the couple have set a wedding date or settled on a location for the ceremony.

Del Rey and O'Neill began dating in 2011.
