HOWELL, Calif., Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Bruce Springsteen's son, Sam, 20, has graduated from the Monmouth County Fire Academy in Howell, N.J., the Hollywood Reporter said.

The musician and his wife, Patti Scialfa, attended the Jan. 15 ceremony, and Sam Springsteen is now a member of the Colts Neck Fire Department, the report said.

"My youngest son, Sam, graduated from Monmouth County Fire Academy tonight," Scialfa wrote in an Instagram message, alongside a photo of Sam in uniform, THR said. The message also had the hashtags "#Proud" and "#OurFamilyHero."
