Brian Kelley marries Brittney Marie Cole

NASHVILLE, Dec. 17 (UPI) -- Florida Georgia Line singer Brian Kelley says he married psychology student Brittney Marie Cole in an outdoor ceremony at his Nashville home.

"The whole process has been non-traditional," Kelley told People.com about Monday's surprise service. "There was no official proposal or exchanging of rings. We had just fallen in love, and I knew I couldn't live without her. It sounds like a terrible cheesy movie, but when you know, you know!"

The couple met three years ago and dated about seven months before tying the knot during a sunset ceremony in front of about 40 guests, who later enjoyed a tapas-style dinner in a renovated barn, People.com reported.

"It was just fun and cozy and warm," said Cole, a University of Georgia student.
