'Royals' tops U.S. record chart for an eighth week

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 21 (UPI) -- Lorde's "Royals" is No. 1 on the U.S. record chart for an eighth week, Billboard.com reported Thursday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 is Eminem's "The Monster" featuring Rihanna, followed by Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" at No. 3, Avicii's "Wake Me Up!" at No. 4 and Katy Perry's "Roar" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are OneRepublic's "Counting Stars" at No. 6, Imagine Dragons' "Demons" at No. 7, Drake's "Hold On, We're Going Home" featuring Majid Jordan at No. 8, Lady Gaga "Applause" at No. 9 and Pitbull's "Timber" featuring Ke$ha at No. 10.
