David Crosby to release album in January

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 6 (UPI) -- U.S. singer-songwriter David Crosby says he is to release "Croz," his first solo album of studio material in 20 years, in January.

Featuring 11 new original songs, "Croz" will come out as a digital and physical release on Blue Castle Records, the label Crosby co-founded with Graham Nash in 2011.

In support of the release, Crosby and his touring band are scheduled to perform a series of concert dates in early 2014.

"I admit I have been lucky, but this tour is really a high point for me," Crosby said in a statement. "I get to go out and play this record that we have made live: the studio is good, but live is even better. I am going to have a blast, and I suspect anyone else who comes to see us will, too."
