Alexa Vega engaged to Carlos Pena, Jr.

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- Alexa Vega's publicist says the Hollywood starlet is engaged to Big Time Rush singer Carlos Pena, Jr., her boyfriend of nearly a year.

Gossip website Just Jared confirmed Vega, 25, and Pena, Jr., 24, are making wedding plans.

The former "Spy Kids" actress posted online a photo of herself wearing a new diamond engagement ring Wednesday.

Vega filed for divorce from film producer Sean Covel, 37, in July 2012 after two years of marriage. Their divorce was finalized in December 2012, UsMagazine.com said.
