Lady Gaga to present new single at VMAs show in Brooklyn

NEW YORK, July 26 (UPI) -- Lady Gaga will perform for the first time live her new, as-yet-unnamed single at the MTV Video Music Awards show in Brooklyn, N.Y., organizers announced.

The New York Daily News said the song is set for release Aug. 19 and will be the first single from Lady Gaga's fourth CD "Artpop," which is due in stores in November.

The performer was the first announced for the VMAs show Aug. 25 at the Barclays Center.

This will be Lady Gaga's first major appearance since she was forced to cancel the remainder of her Born This Way Ball concert tour to have hip operation in February.
