Equipment stolen after Flock of Seagulls concert

LOS ANGELES, July 23 (UPI) -- The 1980s new wave band A Flock of Seagulls says its van and $70,000 worth of equipment were stolen after a performance in Bellflower, Calif.

"Joe's guitar was hand-built. I use a couple of Fenders that are customized," lead singer Mike Score told KTLA-TV, Los Angeles.

Hotel surveillance video showed someone breaking into the van during the weekend, then driving away in the vehicle with all its contents, including the computer hard drive containing Score's new solo album, the report said.
