Rapper 2 Chainz arrested for alleged drug possession

LOS ANGELES, June 12 (UPI) -- Rapper 2 Chainz was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport after drugs were allegedly discovered in his checked luggage, TMZ said.

The 35-year-old hip-hop artist was booked on felony narcotics possession Tuesday.

He allegedly was in possession of marijuana and Promethazine, an ingredient in the drug-laced cocktail sizzurp, TMZ said.
