NEW YORK, June 6 (UPI) -- U.S. rock group Nine Inch Nails says its new album "Hesitation Marks" is set for release Sept. 3.

"Came Back Haunted," the first single off the CD, became available on iTunes Thursday.

The group will kick off its North American concert tour "Nine Inch Nails: Tension 2013" Sept. 28 at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn., Columbia Records said.

"'Tension' picks up where 'Lights in the Sky' left off. This is the full-on NIN live experience realized as we never could before," the band's lead singer Trent Reznor said in a statement Thursday.
