ATLANTA, May 15 (UPI) -- Rapper Gucci Mane has pleaded not guilty in an Atlanta court to an assault charge, denying he hit a soldier with a champagne bottle during a bar fight.
The hip-hop artist entered his plea regarding the alleged March incident Monday morning.
"He's out on bond, just going about his life," his attorney Drew Findling told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Mane was charged with aggravated assault after a man said the rapper assaulted him for asking for a photo.
The Journal-Constitution said the musician has been arrested more than a dozen times on various charges.
