Funeral held for Kriss Kross rapper Chris Kelly

ATLANTA, May 10 (UPI) -- Rappers Jermaine Dupri, Da Brat and Chris Smith were among mourners at the Atlanta funeral for former Kriss Kross musician Chris Kelly, Billboard.com said.

Kelly, 34, died May 1 of a suspected drug overdose.

Two members of the band Xscape -- sisters LaTocha and Tamika Scott -- also attended his funeral service Thursday at Jackson Baptist Memorial Church, Billboard.com said.

A public wake attended by fans was held for Kelly Wednesday.
